I have always loved traveling, experiencing new places, people and things which is research for my books. Originally, I’m from Michigan but raised in Florida, an area I never felt connected to except by family. I’m drawn to the power and energy of water – oceans, waterfalls, and rapids… My first attempt at writing, something I never had an interest in, started while doing a favor for a friend and staying with a sharp, intelligent, 94-year-old gentleman as cook and driver. The story was a fantasy with fairies, myths, and legends that was spectacular. NOT!! With no background or training, I sent it to three publishing houses, ha! You can guess how that turned out.
But many miles, states, cities, and countries later, not to mention writing classes, seminars and conferences, I published The Guardian Series. A contemporary Celtic Anam Cara romantic paranormal suspense with shapeshifters, parallel worlds, etc. Book three is in the works. There is a freebie short story about Jace.
My new series, set in Colorado ranch country, are contemporary romantic suspense – the return of three brothers to the Rockin’ R Ranch. My next project will be about a python hunter in the depths of the Florida Everglades! No not yet, I need to finish The Guardian series first…
Currently I’m house and dog sitting in beautiful Washington state, then on to southern California, and back to Florida for more of the same. I never know where the next whim will send me.
